RICHARD HUGHES

Richard Hughes makes meticulously crafted resin replicas of the objects of our everyday life, man-made discarded objects that find a new relationship with the effects that nature has on them, outside of the safety of our homes. Hughes replays the cultural meaning of discarded sneakers, mattresses or pieces of cardboard with a new and altered significance. Richard will be showing a new piece of work, especially commissioned for the exhibition
